November 15, 2024 Update to your RTM code 98977 workflow:
- What's changing? You no longer need to delete 98977. Kins will catch duplicates - you don’t need to do anything!
- What will stay the same?
- The workflow for billing 98975. Need a reminder? Look at this helpcenter article!
- Kins will still apply the CPT code 98977 to your clinical note after the first 17 days and then every 30 days after that. Just don’t delete it!
Here's How It Works
Initial Setup and Patient Education (CPT Code 98975)
- Automated billing and documentation: After a patient creates their Kins account and views our app-overview, CPT code 98975 is automatically activated.
After you save your note the following will appear in your clinical documentation:
- Billing note: This code can only be billed once per care plan, so be sure to delete 98975 if you use the Copy Previous Billing feature for subsequent visits.
Device Usage and Data Collection (CPT Code 98977)
- Automated billing and documentation: CPT code 98977 is activated after the Kins App collects 16 days of data.
After you save your note the following language will appear in your clinical documentation
- Activity Report: View detailed reports on the patient’s Kins App usage and completion of their outcome measures in the Document section of their Kins profile.
